 Arthur H. Herrmann, age 88, US Army Air Forces WWII Veteran, beloved husband of Evelyn; loving Dad of Arthur N. (Lucyna), Karen (Christopher) Gervasi and Michael; loving grandpa of Daniel and Monica Herrmann and Christopher and Anthony Gervasi. Arthur was an avid dart player. He played in the Lutheran Dart League for 60 plus years. Visitation Friday, 4 to 8 p.m. Chapel Service Saturday, 11 a.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home , 17W201 Roosevelt Rd. (1/4 mile West of Rt. 83), Oakbrook Terrace. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John Lutheran Church in Forest Park or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. Condolences may be offered at Info 630-964-9392 or www.chapelhillgardenswest.com.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you  and your family. We only met your Dad briefly but we know from the many stories you told us about him that he was dearly  loved and we know he will be missed. May he rest in peace.

We are so sorry to learn of the sudden passing of Mr. Herrmann.  He will surely rest in heavenly peace (probably next to a dartball board)!  May peace and love of family and friends surround and comfort you all.
