A funeral service for Christine Louise Foley will be held on Thursday, April 2nd at 8:00pm at the Lane Family Funeral Homes Austintown Chapel. Christine was born May 2, 1963, in East St. Louis, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence and Carol (Bluemner) Prather. She was a graduate of Canfield High School, Class of 1982, and attended Youngstown State University. She loved college basketball and enjoyed being a bookkeeper for her daughter's basketball team. Christine also enjoyed reading, crocheting, and most of all she loved her dogs. Christine leaves her mother Carol, of Canfield; her husband, Gregory Foley, whom she married August 4, 1984; her daughter, Heather Foley of Austintown; her son, Anthony Foley, at home. She also leaves her five siblings, Vickie (Ken) Goehring of Canfield, Michael (Charlotte) Prather of Houston, Texas, Jane Roberts of Canfield, Cathy Kostelic and Melissa Reebel, both of North Jackson. She is further survived by her mother in law, Catherine Jones of Youngstown; her sister in law, Jane Foley of Colorado; two brothers in laws, Ken and Brad Foley, both of Youngstown; as well as several nieces and nephews. Christine is preceded in death by her father Clarence, and one nephew, Robert Shell. Family and friends may call on Thursday, April 2nd from 4 to 8 PM at the Lane Family Funeral Homes Austintown Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
