My thoughts and prayers to the famoly. I knew Chris from when I worked at Shore on the Pediatric unit. She was an inspiring, incredibly gracious and giving person who always took the time to ask how someones life was going. It was a pleasure to have known you Chris. RIP.

Dear Buddy and Family,
Sorry to hear of the passing of Chris. We first met when we attended First Assembly Of God in Toms River back in the 80's. Chris was so warm and friendly, always had a sweet smile on her face and ready to take care of all the children whether in the nursery or any other ministry. She made the most wonderful desserts! Praying the wonderful memories that you've shared with her bring comfort and peace in the days ahead.

Have worked with Chris. Knew her so well with my deliveries !
Loved every moment I spent in labor and delivery. Our conversations did not end only at work but with personal lives.
She was a reliable neonatal nurse and very compassionate!
Chris ,you will be very much missed. Rest In Peace, my friend.

I will miss Chris. We worked together for 15 years. Her smile always lit up the room. She was an exceptional nurse. You knew the babies were in great hands if Chris was working. She was a friend. We spoke about everything from the day to day to Christ. She will be missed. Condolences to the Smith family for this Angel gone too soon.

Chris Smith was the heart and soul of our NICU at Shore Medical Center. Her love, leadership , commitment and dedication to neonatal nursing was nothing short of excellence. It seems like yesterday when you would walk into church; cradle a baby in your arms and smile at some frustrated mom. Your kindness, love and patience modeled the love of Jesus!
