CHRISTOPHER
Age 31, of Oakmont, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014. Dear son of William H. and the late Lisa (Flanagan) Altman; brother of Melissa (Tim) Metz, Jillian L. Altman, and the late John A. Altman; uncle of Zoey, Owen, Laila, and Teagan; grandson of Sue Flanagan and the late Jay Flanagan; nephew of Mary Lee Brown; Chris is also survived by many close family members and friends, he was loved by all. He was a 2001 graduate of Riverview High School, where he was all-state on the soccer team. Chris also enjoyed fishing and playing the lottery. Friends and relatives will be received on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the BURKET - TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont. Funeral Thursday, June 19, 2014, 10:30 a.m., Oakmont Presbyterian Church, EVERYONE MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH. Memorial donations may be made to the family for their discretion. Visit us online at:

So sad. I only got to know Chris through FB but it showed in the pictures how very much he was loved by his sisters and nieces and nephews. Jay was my first cousin. I only remember him as a young girl but he was very much family -- just like my dad. I am very sorry for your loss. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers,

Chris' smile was contagious and he always made you laugh. He literally would give you the shirt off his back without a blink of an eye. My deepest sympathies to the Altman and Flanagan families. We know that he's found a good fishing hole and is with Pap now.
