Christopher J Bergeron

Christopher J Bergeron 68 passed away on June 29th 2025 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital after a period of failing health. He was surrounded by family and close friends.

Chris was born on March 26, 1957 in Rochester, NH where he spent most of his life. He had just recently moved to Milton, NH. He graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas in Dover, NH in 1975.

Chris had a passion for music. He got his first drum set when he was six years old and that's when the drummer was born. He was an extraordinary drummer and was in several local bands from the 1980s and throughout the years. Early on in his music career, he was in band such as Justin Case, Leo and Raina. And most recently he played in Kyllswitch and ended his music career with Scrude.

Another passion was cars. Chris was an excellent auto technician. He worked at several local auto repair shops throughout his career like Fisher's, Million Mile Muffler, Macca's Automotive, Rochester Tire, and Rochester Radiator. In 2010 he started Bergeron Performance Automotive. He was known for being very honest and he could fix just about anything.

Chris was also into racing cars. He could be seen drag racing at New England Dragway in Epping, NH with his 1987 Camaro Z 28. He loved racing. When he stopped racing, he had an online NASCAR Iracing league which he had a lot of fun doing as well.

He is predeceased by his parents, Dr Lionel U Bergeron and Roberta (Splaine) Bergeron of Somersworth, NH. He is survived by his wife, Candice Taylor Bergeron of Milton, NH, son Patrick Bergeron and his wife Tarah Bergeron of Auburn, NH, daughter Brianna Bisson and her husband, Alex Bisson of Newmarket, NH, daughter Jessica Taliaferro of Derry, NH and 6 grandchildren.

A benefit in his memory will be held at a later date.
