Christopher Alen Brinkley

Christopher was full of life and had the biggest heart. Whether he was cheering on his favorite football team, the Georgia Bulldogs, or attending countless Widespread Panic concerts, he always tried to make everyone around him feel loved. He worked hard to follow in his grandfather's footsteps of becoming an attorney and he made lifelong friends along the way. Each day he wanted to put his best foot forward and do well.

We will not only miss his infectious laughter, but his uncanny way of being able to debate any topic and we will miss his knowledge of any sport stat known to man. We will miss his deep appreciation for music and the connections he made through a shared love of music.

Christopher is survived by his mother and step-father, Jori and Randy Mayfield; his father and step-mother, Fred and Tricia Brinkley. His siblings, Cheney Daniel (Evan), Melanie Lydon (Stephen), and Joseph Mayfield (Kristina), Julia King (Alex), and Blane Lazaurs (Victoria); his nephews, Kane Chappuis, Bryce King & his nieces, Karina Chappuis, Wren Daniel, Amelia Cooley, Brielle King, and Saylor Lazaurs; as well as his partner, Kelly Voigts and her daughter Chloee Campbell.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Mayfield Home - 2346 Muirfield Way Duluth, GA 30096 on April 22, 2023. Feel free to drop in and share your stories of Chris starting at 2pm. We are so thankful for the outpouring of love at this time.
