With our deepest sorrow, we announce that Christopher Marcus Clark ,age 39, our most beloved son, brother, family member and friend passed suddenly on Sunday, February 20, 2022. Those who knew Chris, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.
Chris’ life did not come to an end with his death, he will continue to live through us with every passing moment. When Chris was younger, he played for the LAFA League football team. He loved playing football and was a good team member. Chris loved to cook and wanted to become a chef and he was great at it. He loved people and tried to make everyone feel welcome through his experimental dishes. His food was finger licking good! He was an excellent dessert maker and we all enjoyed them especially during the holiday season. He loved family gatherings and his friends.
Chris was a father, brother, cousin, nephew, grandson and son. He loved life to the fullest and mostly he loved his family. Chris loved his only son Xavier so much that he was in his every thought. He always loved spending quality time with his son and taking him fishing. He took the time to nurture him, play with him, read to him, and teach him everything. Xavier will greatly miss his father.
Chris received his certification from Automotive Training Center, and he became a great mechanic. Chris worked on everyone’s car on the side. If you had a car problem, you could call on Chris and he would fix it. He never said no! Chris loved working with his hands and did a lot of odd jobs for people. Chris received his high school diploma from St. Gabriel Hall in 2001. He worked several jobs including Customer Service Representative at Impark, Rainbow Wash House, KP&D Janitorial, Summit House as a maintenance technician and his last job was at ASC, Anvil International, he was a foundry processor.
Chis will be missed everyday by his father, Mark and (Mindy) Clark, his mother, Stacey and (Thomas) Coles, brothers Austin Coles and Nicholas Clark, his grandparents Harriet and Luther Clark, his loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many, many great friends. We know Chris is now with his Nana, Catherine, and Pop-Pop Harold Irons and is loved here on earth as well as in heaven.
