Christopher Cogar Obituary
Christopher Michael Cogar of Canton passed away on Tuesday, December 6th in Grand Junction, CO.
Born on August 19th, 1982, Chris was 40 years old. He attended Cherokee High School. He is survived by his mother, Francis Anderson of Canton, his sister Heather Pitarresi, brother in law Joe and niece Chloe of Neshanic Station, NJ, Grandmother Lorraine Cogar of Sutton, WV, and many uncles and cousins.
Chris was loyal, kind, a hard worker, excellent cook, caring son, man of faith, and a friend to many who referred to him as "Spunky." He battled with addiction his entire life, experiencing periods of sobriety and periods of darkness. His family encourages you to support friends and loved ones struggling with the disease of addiction, reserving judgement, and never giving up the fight. May Chris rest in peace, as he is now free from the binds of addiction and will flourish in the kingdom of Heaven.
