Christopher Alan Conti

Chris was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church where he was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a Board Member for the GreenPrints Alliance and a member of the Parks and Recreation Council for the City of Woodstock. He spent time involved in various ministries such as Kairos Prison Ministry, Cursillo, and most recently an assistant coach for his grandson's baseball team. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and his favorite place to be was on the river kayaking and fishing with his wife of 30 years. Chris never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need.
He is preceded in death by his father, Rev. Dick Conti, and mother, Norma Jo "Penny" Conti. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Conti, and three daughters, Alexis, Brittany, and Christina, all of Woodstock, GA; three brothers; Tony Conti (Lori) of Virginia Beach, VA, Michael Conti (Carrie) of Acworth, GA, and Scott Conti (Amanda) of Acworth, GA. He has three grandchildren, Cooper, Paisley and Malakai who referred to him as "Poppy."
The family will receive friends from 4 pm until 8 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Parkway North, Kennesaw, GA 30152 on Sunday, March 24, 2019. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 25, 2019, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with Fr. Larry Niese officiating. Following the graveside service, a reception to celebrate Chris' life will be held at approximately 1:30 p.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church.
