Christopher was a principled, very intelligent, and kind, compassionate physician who always had everyone's best interests at heart. He was my mentor during my internship year and I learned so much from him in a couple of months at LHH at the beginning of my training that it left a long-lasting impression of the type of MD I strive to be through my entire career.

Chris was a wonderful colleague and a great doctor. He was smart, principled, and had a lot of wisdom for someone so young. At a deeper level he was someone who quested in life for complex truths, avoided cliches and easy answers, and had a strong commitment to pushing for excellence. He will truly be missed.

He saw me through a year of darkness, helping me deal with the death of my father, grandmother and sudden hospitalization of my mother. I will forever be in his debt for the guidance and compassion he provided. I am so deeply saddened by this loss. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
