Chris, my heart hasn't stopped aching since I heard of your loss. Life is going to be so different without you. I will hold fiercely to all of our memories together. I wouldn't be the person that I am today if I had never known you. I am proud to call you my friend, now and until we meet again. I can't wait to hear what stories you have for me.
Rob and Sandra, I think of you all the time. Chris is irreplaceable. But just know the love and joy that he spread with just a simple smile or a laugh. Together, you two created the most wonderful, silly, kind, amazing person.

I am so sorry for your loss. Chris was such a beautiful person inside and out. Chris was always lending a hand or offering a smile. Although I had only known Chris a short period of time, we shared one thing in common "the love for candy". Thank you Chris for always sharing with me and being such
a genuine, kind hearted, young man. I am happy to have known you. Rob and Sandra you raised a angel.

Rob & Sandra - We're so sorry for your tragic loss. Our fondest memory of Chris was of holding up the broken golf club, blushing, with that infectious grin of his :-). He was a wonderful kid who obviously had wonderful loving parents. May he be looking out for you and smiling forever.

Rob and Sandra: Words seem incapable of expressing the depth of our sorrow at this tragic loss of such a fine and wonderful young man. For all of us who had the good fortune of knowing Chris through softball he was part of the heart and soul of the Royals, as much a band of brothers as it was, and is, a team. Chris was an inspiration to his team mates and coaches. His sense of humour would break the tension before a big game, after which he would take the ball, walk to the mound and carry the team and an entire season on his back. That was Chris as I fondly and so admirably remember him. He was humorous but serious, courageous and fearless, unselfish yet heroic. All of us that knew Chris are fortunate for the experience in having had the opportunity to share a part of their lives with such a tremendous young man who inspired us all by his ethic, dedication and his love of life. Donna reminds me that Chris is not gone, he's just ahead waiting for us to join him. Wherever he is, I know he's pitching for the Angels.

Chris, I still remember meeting you for the first time as a baby; you would giggle so hard at the smallest things that you would have the whole room laughing with you. Twenty-six years later it's still a memory I recall vividly and reading the other comments there is no doubt that you carried that spirit with you creating countless happy memories and bringing lots of joy to everyone who was fortunate enough to know you. Todd and I will definitely miss that big smile of yours and those genuine “good to see you” hugs at the family gatherings. We love you and will miss you greatly.
Rob and Sandy, we are beyond saddened that you're faced with such a tragic loss. You created and nurtured a beautiful, kind and compassionate son who obviously loved you both very much and was also loved by many. We want you to know that we love you and wish you all of the strength and courage necessary to get through this difficult time. XO

I am not sure why this happened to such a great person... I guess the saying "only the good die young" really is true. You really do have the best view now...you can keep an eye over all of us... Make sure you make some noise when you see us swinging at that rise ball or not being able to lay off that change-up... And try to keep my roster spot open because I'll be playing field for you when we meet again! You have touched a lot of lives and were the sole reason for many laughs! You'll be forever ingrained in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know you. We will miss you my friend.
