Corey Joseph White

Corey Joseph White, 44, of Savannah, Georgia passed away April 29th, 2022.
He was born in Savannah to William A. White and Caroline Zeigler White on December 2, 1977.
He attended Chatham County Schools throughout his childhood. After leaving school, he followed in his father's footsteps and became a fisherman, to which he was valued as a dedicated hard worker amongst local shrimpers.
One thing that everyone knew about Corey is that he loved and lived for being on the water.
When not working as a shrimper, he fished as much as he could, his home was on the water, quite literally as he resided on his boat in Lazaretto Creek for the past 6 or so years.
Corey was known in the community as a kind-hearted, genuine, humble, and loving person. He never met a stranger and was always welcoming to those he came across.
Corey is survived by a son, Trevor White; daughter, Jasmine White; father, William A. White; mother, Caroline Zeigler; brothers, Will White, Coby White (Lucy) and Billy White; sister, Angie White; and five nieces and nephews.
He shall be dearly missed by his family and friends.
