MAJ Miller and I served together in the Army between 2012 and 2014, he also served with my father and Uncle in the Army. All 3 of them were former Marines so they immediately had a connection. We affectionately called him Lance Major because he was so proud of how long he was a Lance Corporal in the Corps. I'd give him a call or shoot a text every Marine Corps birthday, he'd call back on veterans day to wish me well. He would bring us a pizza once a week and just talk about so many interesting topics with such excitement and zeal. I always felt like he should've been a surfer on the west coast soaking up sunshine. I'm going to miss him dearly, the world is dimmer without him. The military is better place because of guys like Chris Miller, who always thought of his men first. Rest in peace dear brother. Til Elysium

Chris was a great guy. I have fond memories running on the boardwalk and the sand with him during meal. He kept the streets of NYC safe as well as the turbulent places abroad. He always kept a positive attitude no matter what we faced. His confidence was addictive and reassuring.
I am so sad to hear that he has transitioned. I'm sure that he is standing with Archangel Michael guarding us all.
God bless you, Chris!

Chris Miller was a kind hearted gentleman. May the memories of happier times give his family and friends strength to get through this loss. As he was always helping and watching out for others, he will now do it from heaven as a guardian angel. May he rest in peace.

Chris, was a gentleman and a very kind hearted one. May the memories of happier times, help give his family and friends strength at this time. Just like on earth, he helped and watched over all his loved ones. Now he will do it from heaven, as their guardian angel. May he rest in peace, he will be missed.
