Leslie and I send our deepest sympathies to Susanne Kyle and Ryan. We all had many gatherings at Haller lake when our kids were young. Chris and Susanne were our neighbors and we were lucky to have them in our lives for many years. We all went to Husky games, dinners at home and out, Whistler and golf. Chris had the rare ability to listen to people and be a good friend when you needed a good friend. Chris was a good person and able to give quality advice. I´ll miss my annual husky football texts with Chris. sincerely, Byron Wetherholt

I only found out today of Chris' passing. I know Chris through softball but he also invited me to play golf at Sandpoint a couple of times, The first time I asked Chris how a particular putt broke. He told me and it broke the opposite way. After accusing him of trying to make me miss the putt, we realized that he was facing me when he told me and we both got a good laugh. Chris was a kind and gentile man who will be missed by many. Condolences to his family and many, many friends who loved him.

Susanne, Kyle and Ryan, we are so saddened to learn of Chris' passing. Wishing you peace and comfort in the days and months ahead. This quote will hopefully be a reminder of all the living Chris did and the love for his family and friends. "Don't cry because it is over - smile because it happened." Thinking and praying for you all at this difficult time. The Tonina Family

I remember Chris working hard on his chipping at Sand Point on the practice green and though he struggled a bit with it, his perseverance and good humor about the challenges of golf always shown through. He was always friendly and if good humor and approached the challenges of golf with optimism and cheer. I will miss him. May his memory be a blessing to his family.
