Christopher Newcomer Obituary
Born in Costa Rica, he is the son of Kattia Blanco of Statham and the late Keith Lee Newcomer. He was a member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church where he was active with the youth, and student at Prince Avenue Christian School. Christopher had a heart filled with love and compassion. He was a smart, bright boy, was bilingual and proud of his dual citizenship. He loved music, reading, swimming and soccer, Christian radio shows and dreamed of one day being a doctor or scientist. Christopher was loved by and will be missed by many.
Funeral services will be 9:00 a.m. Friday, October 22, 2010 at Lord and Stephens Chapel, WEST (time to be announced) with Rev. Ray Finger officiating. Interment will be in Oconee Memorial Park.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his sister, Andrea Quiros and grandparents, Rodrigo Blanco and Anne and Robert Newcomer.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.

Kattia, Please know Christopher is in the arms of our Lord Jesus. It's hard for those of us left to grieve our love ones, but my prayers will be on going that you have peace and strength during this sad time in your life. Our Lord Jesus will sustain you. May he bless your heart. Love you!
