Christopher Overholser Obituary
In addition to his parents, Christopher is survived by a sister & brother-in-law, Niki & Josh Routt of Greenville; brother, Tyler Overholser of Greenville; nieces and nephews, Raven Petitjean, Brandon Allread, Isaac Routt, Isabella Routt and Mavrick Routt; grandparents, Bud & Phyllis Overholser of Greenville and Rev. Clyde Eldridge of Fairborn; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Christopher is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Eldridge.
Christopher worked at Nationwide Insurance Corporate Office in Columbus. He was a graduate of Greenville High School and The Ohio State University in Columbus.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, March 25, 2013 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor David Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 24, 2013 from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

My thoughts and prayers for the Overholser family and all of Chris's friends. I just met him about six months ago but it feels like I've known him forever. He was such a kind person with a heart of gold, a contagious smile and an optimistic attitude. I would meet with him and our friend Vicki every Tuesday for lunch to talk about our favorite TV shows. Our times together were some of the best moments and helped get me through some of the most stressful days. I just wish I could have been able to spend even more time with him. He will never be forgotten, thank you for sharing Chris with us.

We have all truly lost a fabulous friend. Met Chris in 2005 when working in Community Programs. Instantly became very good friends and over the years stayed in touch with many "happy dance" emails and discussions that followed our careers. Just simply adore him and will miss him dearly.

I had the extreme pleasure of working with Chris at Nationwide. Even though I worked remotely, whenever we'd see each other it was as though we'd never been apart. He had the uncanny ability of making everyone feel loved and special... as he surely was. I'll miss our weekly 'Modern Family' discussions. We were all blessed to have had him in our lives.
