Christopher Payton Obituary
Born to Henry J. Payton and the late Elizabeth "Donna" Payton (Gallagher), Christopher was known for his quick wit and lifelong love of all things fast and thrilling. Whether watching NASCAR on a Sunday afternoon or talking sports with family and friends, his passion was contagious and his knowledge unmatched.
He spent many years proudly cheering on his nieces and nephews at their sporting events, always showing up on the sidelines with unwavering support and enthusiasm no matter how he felt.
He found great joy in being near the water and had a special love for boats and spending time at the lake-places where he felt most at peace.
Chris is survived by his father, Hank Payton; his brothers, Michael Payton and wife Lori Payton (Lekatsas), and Jason Payton and wife Michelle Hanson. He was a proud uncle to his five nieces and nephews: Kayla Kent (Payton) and husband P.J. Kent, Connor Payton, Luke Payton, Madison Payton, and Mason Payton. He was also a loving great-uncle to Avery Mae Kent and Carson Kent. Chris was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Donna Payton.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Pure Life in Stoughton, MA, where Chris received care over the years, as well as to the team at Boston Medical Center for providing comfort and compassion in his final days.
Chris, you will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever in our hearts.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 17, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 98 Bedford Street, Bridgewater, MA. A memorial service will follow at Chapman's on Friday, July 18 at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks you to consider a donation to the Courtney Whitmore Jensen Memorial Fund, which supports individuals living with disabilities as they fight for strength and independence.

To Chris's family prayers for your loss. I worked wuth Chris when he was in high school i was the Para in the Resource Room with Ginny O'Kelly
He had a great sense of humor and a very quick wit. Also liked to sleep alot. We got him through his high school years with a lot of hard work. I was very proud of him
