Christopher Peck Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 28, 2025.
Christopher Peck, age 66, died on July 15, 2025, at his home in Port Huron, Michigan. Born on December 4, 1958, in Croswell, Michigan, he was the fourth of ten children born to Ed and Jane (Kehrer) Peck.

Chris was a devoted son and brother whose kind and tender-hearted nature left a lasting impression on those around him. Known for his generosity-some would say he'd give you the shirt off his back-he carried that spirit into every aspect of his life.

Throughout his career, Chris brought warmth and professionalism to every role he held. At Croswell Plastics, he was a kind and encouraging co-worker who made the workplace brighter for those around him. Later, as a salesman for Office Supply in Port Huron, Chris's confidence and good humor made him a favorite among clients and colleagues alike-he always left people with a smile. He also took great pride in his many campaigns at Michigan Sugar Co.

Chris cherished his family deeply. He is survived by his daughter Belinda and grandson Tyler; brothers Edward (Linda) Peck of New Hampshire, John Peck of Croswell, Vincent (Julie) Peck of Sterling, Martin (Corinne) Peck of Ann Arbor, Denis (Diane) Peck of Oakland County, and Timothy Peck of Kentucky; sisters Jennifer (Craig) Galer of Lansing and Patrice Ventimiglia of Sterling Heights; as well as many nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly. His dear friend Ron Czekai also held a special place in his life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Kathy in January 2020; his son Tyler Joseph Peck; his parents; and his sister Geraldine.

A Memorial service will be held on August 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Sturges Memorial Congregational Church 2729 Ravenswood Rd, Port Huron, where his church family and extended family will greet mourners.
