Mr. Christopher Allen Quick affectionately known as “Nomee”, 48, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Chris was born on April 21, 1975, to his mother, Darlene Blue. Chris graduated from Mission of Faith Christian School in Wallace, South Carolina. Chris was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a remarkable talent for nurturing flowers and tending to gardens. Chris was very skilled with mechanics and spent a lot of time working on his Pa’s truck. Above all else, Chris cherished his family dearly. He exemplified his love by always being there for them and ensuring their well-being. He selflessly devoted himself to caring for those he held dear to his heart. Chris will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his loved ones and his knack for all things outdoors. His presence will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
Chris is predeceased by his step-father, Hamer Cottingham; grandparents, Luther and Allene Quick; and uncle, Levone Quick.
Chris is survived by his wife, Debra Quick of Wallace, SC; his daughter, Willow Quick; and his mother, Darlene Blue of Wallace, SC.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00PM, Sunday, January 28, 2023, at Whites Creek Baptist Church in Wallace, South Carolina. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 2:00PM to 3:00PM.
Kiser Funeral Home has been entrusted to serve the Quick family during their time of grief.
