Christopher D Rath

Christopher D Rath (Chrisrath.com), 52, passed away peacefully on June 17th, with loved ones by his side. Chris was born on September 13th, 1972, in Aurora, Colorado. He lived in Florida most of his life, including Largo and later in Homosassa, earlier in life he lived in Augsburg, Germany and Stockbridge, Georgia. Chris is predeceased in death by his mother Kit M. Rath and his brother Steven J Rath. Chris is survived by his father Damon F. Rath; son Demetri Rath; daughter Arianna Rath; siblings Micheal Rath and Brandy Downing. Chris is survived by many niece and nephews. Chris had an extended family in Homosassa, Shannon Duvall and children; Ryan Allen, Alexandria Duvall and Ashley Eichhorn; as well as Sandra Suriano.

Chris graduated from Largo High School in 1991 and later completed his AA degree at SPJC. Chris was born an entrepreneur and worked professionally as a Real Estate Agent/Broker for many years. He had a creative mind for business approaches and was working on a BAS in Technology Development and Business Management. In his later years he worked as a welder and traveled throughout the states. Chris enjoyed boating, grilling and hanging out with friends and family. Chris loved his family, he loved his children deeply even when not near, and loved his closest of friends and their families as they were just as strong as the family bond.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
