Chris was a great brother-in-law. He was always willing to offer help, advice or wisdom if Victoria or I ever needed it.
We shared a love of music. Not exactly the same types of music, but he and I were able to have insightful conversations about what we loved about our respective styles. I am happy to have known him for the time that I did.
My heart goes out to the rest of the family. He is greatly missed.

Since I heard the news, I´ve been going through all the memories I have in my head. Chris and I share a daughter but we shared a lot of good times as well. We bonded over our love for Michael Jackson and loved the thrill or searching for vintage/collectibles toys.
Chris loved showing me his favorite movies and shows. We owned almost every season of CSI on dvd. There are some things that I will never be able to see and not think of him like Eminem, Ninja Turtles, Fast and Furious. Every year for Christmas we watched Jingle All The Way and I can still hear his impression of Arnold Schwarzenegger saying, "PUT THAT COOKIE DOWN".
He lives on in our daughter and I am forever grateful that I met him because he gave me my biggest blessing, Mia Amor Sanchez.

Bubby I will miss you so much. You were always the cool older brother who I could look up to. You always knew how to make everyone laugh and had a natural way of making everyone around you love you. You were a good brother but a even better father and uncle. All of the girls will miss you so much and they are so filled with memories of you. There are very few places across Dallas, Garland and Mesquite we can visit with out bringing up a story or memory of being with you. The only thought that brings us peace is knowing you are at rest in heaven with Mom. We will continue to talk about you all the time and we will never forget you.

I was lucky to have known Strech for 24 years, and in that time he became more than just a friend or even best friend-he was family. He had a way of making people laugh, of showing up when you needed him, and of being a loyal presence through all of life´s ups and downs. One of my favorite parts of our friendship was our shared love for Eminem-he always kept me up to date on his latest music, and it gave us countless conversations and laughs over the years. I never knew anyone who could memorize, recite and break down lyrics like Strech could. I´ll always cherish the memories, the laughter, and the friendship we shared. Strech, you will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Bubby, I miss you so much.
I've lost a piece of my heart, and a chunk of my soul. I keep wanting to send you pictures, show you a funny video, or talk to you about a song...and you're not there.
I'm so grateful I got to talk to you and tell you that I love you the night before you left us, but I wish I could talk to you just one more time. You often told me that I was the only person on the planet who truly understood you. You said that you were always "Team Tina." I feel so lost without you on my team.
I hope you're with Mom, talking and laughing about your favorite shows again. I miss you both so much, it hurts. I know you're at peace now. I love you, and you will always be my big Bubby.
