Christopher Soriano Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 12, 2024.
Christopher Fenley Soriano, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, went to heaven on February 10, 2024, at the age of 62, surrounded by his loving family at Grandview Hospital in Perkasie, PA. Born on January 24, 1962, in Somerville, NJ, Chris brought joy and warmth to the lives of all who knew him.

Chris' journey was one of resilience and compassion. He faced many challenges in life, but his final one was his battle with Squamous Cell Carcinoma, demonstrating his immense strength and courage until the very end. Chris' dedication to his family was unwavering, and he took great pride in being a proud father to his three children, Chris Soriano, Jr (Marie Appel), Caitlin Landis (Jason), Christine Soriano, and a loving grandfather to his seven grandchildren (whom he enjoyed campouts in the backyard with). His cherished family extended beyond his immediate relatives, including his father Raymond Soriano, his four siblings Ray Soriano (Donna), David Soriano (Margie), Susan Webster (Rob), Lynn Soriano-Noyes (Paul), who loved him dearly, nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins. He was predeceased in death by his mother Barbara Fenley who we know was waiting for him in heaven along with his Aunt Sally and Uncle Dan Tomlinson, Uncle Joe and John Fenley, Aunt Patty Fenley Elfman, and his grandmother Ethel Ponce Fenley and grandparents Raymond and Marie Soriano.

Music and playing the piano and harmonica brought Chris great joy, and he shared his talent with those around him. An accomplished hunter and fisherman, Chris had a real connection with the great outdoors. He reveled in the beauty of nature during his time in Potter County, PA, where he often embarked on peaceful journeys through the forests on his four-wheeler. His passion for his sports teams, particularly the Phillies and the Eagles, was infectious, and he followed their every triumph and setback with unwavering loyalty. Chris's passion for baseball stemmed from his youth, and he continued to enjoy the sport as a dedicated member of various softball teams in the Doylestown area.

Known for his giving and generous nature, Chris never hesitated to lend a helping hand to those in need. His dedication to helping others was evident to all who knew him, and he found immense joy in sharing stories of his acts of kindness. He seemed to have a goal in his mind each and every day to see how many people he could make smile and laugh! Helping others feel good was so important to him.

Chris's work ethic was unparalleled. As a stonemason for over 40 years, he dedicated countless early mornings and long hours to his trade, leaving behind a legacy of exceptional craftsmanship throughout Bucks County, PA and beyond, where his stonework will endure for generations to come.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Chris served his country proudly as a member of the United States Navy. His military service exemplified his commitment to duty and loyalty.
A ceremony to celebrate Chris's remarkable life will be held on March 9, 2024, at the Morning Star Fellowship church in Quakertown, PA. Visitation from 10:00-11:00am and Service is from 11:00-12:00.

In memory of Chris, contributions can be made to "The Gift of Life Howie House" in Philadelphia, PA. Chris held deep gratitude for this organization, which provided invaluable support throughout his journey as an organ transplant recipient.

Christopher Fenley Soriano will forever be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unyielding spirit. His presence touched the lives of countless individuals, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy that will be treasured for years to come. May his soul find eternal peace in heaven with Jesus.

If Chris was your friend you could count on at least 2 things; He always had your back and he would stop at nothing to help you no matter what.
