Christopher James Studier, 45, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on January, 20, 2025, in Baltimore, Maryland.

He was born on Dec. 25, 1979, to the late Richard J. Studier and Pamela J. Studier (née Hopper).

Most of his life was spent in the Cleveland area. He developed a reputation as a respected breakbeat electronic music DJ, who performed under the name of OODIE 5OOO.

He was a graduate of Rocky River (Ohio) High School.

He is remembered as a gracious man, always striving to help others. He was an avid Cavaliers fan, enjoyed traveling, and loved to be part of the electronic music scene.

He is survived by his life partner in Baltimore, Susan Tarry, MD, and their three cats. He is also survived by his brother, Matthew (Michelle) of Cleveland, and two nieces Mackenzie and Morgan. In addition, Aunt Jane Melton (Fred), as well as two cousins, Heather and Amanda Breeden, and a host of other family and lifetime friends that miss him dearly.

A memorial service is being held in Cleveland on Feb. 22.
