Dear Penny, Charlie, Barb, Al and the entire Adams family,
I can't express how sad I was when Laurie told me about C.Ja.'s accident. I am so very sorry for your loss. I'm glad I got to meet him 16 years ago on my trip to Mass. I have pictures of C.Ja, Kenny and Alexis. From the picture in the paper, you can tell he's an 'Adams'.

Charlie, Penny, Alexa and Kenny:

We were just going camping when we heard the news about CJ. I remembered the time CJ went with us to Maine (and the terrible prank call he and Stephen made!). I so wish this was just a prank. All week you were constantly in my thoughts and we remembered all the fun times with CJ. I'm glad we were able to make the wake and I want you to know that CJ will always be remembered. He is someone else's "Prince" now and will be watching over you always.

To your parents....I am so sorry for your loss. Your son was an incredible human being. He brought so much joy to the kids at the Y. He will be truly missed by so many.

My dearest loved one, here on earth,
I saw a tear fall down your face.
You didn’t see me standing there,
Nor could you feel my soft embrace.

But I was standing next to you,
I know you looked around.
You seemed to wonder what it was
You thought you heard a sound.

Yes my love, it was I,
Who came to check on you.
I saw a tear fall from your eye,
I knew you were feeling blue.

Even though you cannot see me.
Please know that I am near
I am now an angel from above
To brush away your tear.

I know each day you think of me
And many times shed a tear.
But please just close your eyes
And know that I am near.

As I have told you often,
Do not be afraid to cry.
It does relieve the pain
Knowing we had to say goodbye.

One thing is for certain,
Even though life on earth is o’er
I’m still closer to you now
Than ever I was before.

I know you still don’t understand
Why I had to leave this earth
God doesn’t have any secrets;
It’s just all planned from our birth.

Someday when you have joined me
And meet God at His Throne,
It’s then you will understand
The questions that have been unknown.

My heart and prayers go out to your family. I lost my son in a car accident last July. C.Ja sounds so much like my Michael. So full of life and compassionate towards others.
You have a special angel to help you through the tough days ahead. Although C Ja is not here with us on this earth, he will still reach out to you when you are in quiet thought of him.

May God bless you.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
