My deepest sympathy to the Truax and Bigggs Families. I remember Chris as a witty, sweet kid in Houston - and later as a kind, thoughtful young man visiting his Grandparents in Pittsburgh. bodyI guess our first memories of Chris were when he swam with our girls on the Atascocita CC swim team. I remember Melissa coming home and telling us how funny her new friend was and that he made her laugh continuously. Chris lit up any room he entered and infused it with fun because of his infectious laugh, crazy sense of humor, and ever present smile. He and Melissa lived at each other's houses while growing up and we always felt he was a part of the family. He also became very dear friends with Heidi and Kristen. Kristen looked up to him like an older brother.
I dont think we will ever know a more sensitive and caring soul. He had a way of making those around him feel so important and appreciated. Our whole family loved him and feel so grateful that he touched our lives. We will miss him so much.
Our deepest sympathies to the family. Try to hang on to all the good memories because there are a whole treasure trove of them.

To Chris's family: I worked w/ Chris for 3 yrs in Boston. we became friends thru work, and I thought so highly of him, professionally and personally. I looked forward to our weekly chat sessions and we continued to stay in touch over the years. He was such a sweet, sensitive, fun person. all who worked with him at WRM truly enjoyed him (even though all us women drove him crazy- especially you Barbara Russo! :) I always remember him happy and smiling. I will miss him so much, I share your devestation and sorrow. He was special to me as well. Chris- I hope you know how much I thought of you and hope you are at peace. I am sorry we didn't meet up recently as planned,and my children didn't get to meet you. you will stay in my heart. I am forever touched and am privledged to have known you.

I am so sorry to hear about Chris! I only remember good things about him when he and I met in Boston all those years ago. I remember how much fun he was to hangout with, and also to have a great heart-to-heart conversation with when times troubled him or any of his friends. I'm sorry for the kind of loss he left us with and please know that I have always loved him as a friend (even if we were hundreds of miles apart). He was such a great guy! All of the pictures of him remind me how happy he seemed and how good he always looked. He truly looks happy and filled with joy when he was with you all and with all his friends.

I was so deeply saddened to hear my close friend Chris had passed. He was a loyal and deeply caring friend who would do anything for you in your time of need. I will always remember how Chris made us all laugh making people feel comfortable around him, often with his goofy sense of humor.
