Christopher Uhlenberg Obituary
Chris was a machine operator at Pro Ex Extrusion in Oshkosh, WI, and previously ran his own business as a painting contractor for many years. He was a hard worker who took pride in his craft.
Outside of work, Chris had a passion for helping animals and often volunteered at a local animal rescue. He was known for his kind-hearted nature and generosity. Chris enjoyed rock music, especially attending concerts with his children. He also cherished camping trips with loved ones, relishing the opportunity to cook meals outdoors.
He is survived by his children, Kayla and Paige Uhlenberg, his sisters Karla (Chris) Buel and Tammi (Tom) Headrick, his brother Randy (Carole) Keaton. Chris is also survived by his aunt Connie (Mike) Rutkowski, his uncle Stan (Celene) Post, his friend and former wife Holly (John Mays) Schroeder, and many cousins. Chris was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday afternoon, March 23, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Stories of a Lifetime (SOAL), 6040 39th Ave, Suite #5, Kenosha, WI.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Orphan Animal Rescue and Sanctuary at 810 S. Commercial Street, Neenah, WI 54956.
Chris will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

We took the kids camping with some friends. We got there late and set up the tents in the dark. The next day it downpoured. When it was downpouring we realized that the rain cover for our tent was put on wrong and almost everything in our tent was soaked. Chris made the best of this situation. Instead of getting upset he danced in the rain. Then all the kids started playing in the mud. It was a muddy mess but we all had a blast.
