Priscilla Stimpson
January 8, 2020
Chris was born and died in Salt Lake City where he lived for over fifty years of his too-short life. He died peacefully in his sleep. He was with his wife and sweetheart Aimee. He leaves his siblings Barbara Pomeranz, John (Jessie), David (Brenda), Priscilla Stimpson, Peggy (Victor), Linda (Mark) Hamilton, Lynn, Mark (Alisa), Michael (Luke) and Susan (Kelly) Angel and second generation siblings Steven (Kari) Pomeranz, Jennifer (Justin) Erickson and John Stimpson who grew up with Chris. Chris married Julie Smith March 17, 1988. Divorced 2000. Their son Adam is so much like his dad. Chris married Aimee Knudsen August 4, 2007 and became a second father to Tad & Kaitlin Jensen and Nicholas Carruthers and more recently a grandfather to the Carruthers twins Charlie and Cooper. He is survived by his aunt Alice (Earl) Bartholomew and many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins including Courtney and Paige to whom Adam is a surrogate little brother. Chris's absence leaves a void that cannot be filled. The world was a better place because he was in it. His influence will continue to remind us to love and cherish one another always.
