It is with sadness that we announce the passing and celebration to remember the life of Christy Lynn Cobb, who passed away on March 21, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Christy was a devoted and loving mother to her cherished children, Nicholas and Rileigh Toner, who stood by her side with unwavering love and support. She was also surrounded by many dear friends who treasured her warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit.

Born and raised in White Oak, Texas, Christy later moved to Houston, where she began her career and lovingly built her family. She will forever be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her.

A private service will be held for the family. There will be a celebration reception with complimentary brunch/lunch open to friends of Christy, or of Nick and Rileigh who wish to celebrate Christy's life, share stories and good memories at a location most everyone has shared a memory with her:

My sincerest condolences to the family.  I´m deeply saddened by this.

Rest well, Christy, or as I called you, `Cobster.´ Thank you for being an amazing coworker and friend for over 20 years.

You will forever hold a special place in my heart. Your fun-loving, get `er done attitude was something. You always had an interesting story....I´ll always be grateful for your advice, the lunches at Molina´s, your support, our Target runs during lunch, our vent session, and your willingness to help me with anything.

Watching you as a working mother raise Rileigh and Nick inspired me in my own motherhood journey. The love you had for them was evident in everything you did. Because of y´all, I booked Brycen´s and my first cruise this year so we can make memories.

You will always be remembered with love and gratitude.

CHRISTY

There are people that as soon as you meet, you know you´re going to be friends. Though we haven´t worked together for many years, we still kept in touch. Rileigh and Nicolas, she was so very proud of you. Christy Bob - shine as bright in the heavens as you did on Earth. You will be dearly missed.

The Coolest person I've Ever worked with....There was a Reason I called her "Supermodel" and "Captain Awesome".
From day one, she told me to be strong, stand up for myself, and to take no b.s.
Christy always looked amazing. I'd tell her "you just fell into your closet and came out looking Mah-velous, didn't you?" She'd laugh at me, her eyes would turn into slits and say "GURL!"
I enjoyed our times up at my desk when we'd play "Stick Christy Friday" by picking out her "dream house" (where we'd stick her) from the real estate section of the Wall St Journal.....good times.
I can still hear her say in reply to my randomly saying "All day??" and she'd reply with "errrr day".
Nick and RiRi - you were Her Whole World and I am Grateful that she was a little bit of mine.
Love you Christy....all day......

Christy, I cry as I write this! You were my sister's ride or die for over 25 years. You were my second sister and family! Back in the 90s you took me out to the Post Oak grill/uptown for happy hour and TGIF(you were always down) to which we worked near each other. I was heart broken from a break-up from an old girlfriend and you made sure that I had the best night of my life. We drank and we danced the night away! We jammed so many cassette tapes in your car because we discovered that we liked the same type of music ! This was the type of person you were! You made sure that I had fun and would forgot about that dumb girl! You looked out for my sister (Chaz) always. I watched you raise RiRi and Nick as a single mother and I enjoyed seeing them play soccer and football (thanks to Facebook) I'm glad you are no longer in pain, but man this sucks! I know you are in heaven with your beautiful mother I will miss this beautiful soul Continued prayers for RiRi and Nick who lost the coolest mom!

I am so saddened by the news that our Christy Lou has passed. Christy was always my bright light when we worked together and we have always kept in touch. My heart goes out to Nick and Rileigh, and I know that Christy's powerful love for them will continue to fuel and guide them throughout the rest of their lives.

I´m so very saddened to hear of the passing of Christy . She had a heart of gold and anyone that knew her knew her kids Nick and Rileigh, were her heart and soul . Although we haven´t worked together for 11 years now we would reach out and talk every now and then .

Rest in peace sweet Christy and we love you forever

Shocked and saddened to hear this. I have not seen Christy in a while but I will always remember when I first met Christy and when she had her lovely children. She was always there for them. Hard to lose your Mom but just know she will always be with you and how lucky you were to have her as your mom.

Christy, thank you for being such an incredible Mom. The love, time, and dedication you poured into raising our children helped shape them into the amazing individuals they are today - and will continue to become. Your kindness, guidance, and unconditional love have left a lasting imprint on their hearts and lives.

Though you will be deeply missed, who you are lives on through them. They carry forward the values and strength you instilled in them, and there is no doubt they will honor your memory in the way they live, love, and grow. You will forever be a part of their lives, and the pride you felt for them will show through their accomplishments and the lives they live making your legacy eternal.

Thank you for everything, Christy.

Christy you were my neighbor who grew into my friend. I am sure you knew that I was baking all those goodies for an excuse to come over and have a bitch session. And yes to make you fat!
You did a great job with the kids! What wonderful strong and kind adults they have grown into.
I miss you....

My heart is still broken but I know Christy is no longer in pain. God´s love will watch over Nick and Rileigh. If you knew Christy then you knew, her children were her life.
Love you Christy!
