Having been a Love Song fan from the early `70s, I was greatly privileged to spend significant time with Chuck in his later years whenever he´d come to western Canada for concerts. CHUCK CONSCIENTIOUSLY AND CONSISTENTLY LIVED WHAT HE SANG!! I am much the richer for our friendship!

Our brother Chuck was my friend. I recall our long chat when he did the music ministry at a conference I spoke at in Wisconsin. I first remember him when he played at The Lambs Club in Manhattan. He is now with Jesus awaiting us in glory. I thank The Lord for the blessings of his music.

Condolences to all of Chuck´s family. The first time I heard Chuck and Love song was in 1971 at the little chapel in Costa Mesa. They were singing Two Hands, my friend and I both went forward and accepted the Lord . We later went to the Calvary chapel first ever Idlewild retreat . Love Song and the other Maranatha Bands were there. God bless your family for the wonderful memories and blessings..

Chuck´s testimony and his ability to create gospel changing music was a gift that many of us will always treasure. His love for God lives on through his music. This "Little Pilgrim" helped to influence and change lives through his talent and abilities. Looking forward to seeing Chuck here there or in the air. Condolences to his family and close friends. I met him at a free concert in ogden, Utah. You could see Jesus Love in his eyes. " Thank you Lord that he´ll be with you forever".

I was 15 when I first saw Chuck with Love Song in 1972. Their debut album was about to be released and I waited with much anticipation for it. It is still my #1 desert island album. I was blessed to see Love Song many times in the early 70s and, later on, Chuck as a solo artist. Influenced by piano-based songs such as Feel the Love, Freedom and Little Pilgrim, Chuck was my very first inspiration to teach myself to play the piano; something I have done now for 50 years. It was a joy to bring Chuck to our church in 1997 for a weekend of music and ministry. He also helped me put together the very first Love Song website in 1995. I shall always cherish his music and our friendship and look forward to seeing him again in "heavenly places" one day. RIP, rock 'n roll preacher!

Condolences to the family and friends. I know some people feel like family, if they have been listening to his music for the last 55 years or so, and we were brothers in Christ. Thank you and God for your voice, your music, and the inspiration you shared.
Love in Christ.
See you later, Chuck.

The first song I heard Love Song sing was "Little Country Church", it had such a great hook and yes, I was hooked! They were the first band to start the Christian Music Revolution and so many great bands followed.
Thank you Chuck and Love Song for hearing The Call and acting upon it. You led so many to Christ with your music and words of encouragement, never to be forgotten and then, Paradise!
I bless your memory and am ever thankful and grateful for all the memories!
Prayers for your family, dear brother.

I met Chuck Girard at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa during the Saturday night concerts. They Love Song group always had wonderful songs to listen to.
I worked in the church office and filled in on Saturday nights and worked Sunday nights.
I miss Chuck, but so glad he is well in Heaven with Jesus, Chuck Smith and others that many of us knew before him.
Thank you Chuck for your music.

One of the pioneers of CCM in the 1970s. "Sometimes Alleluia" is a praise and worship classic, but Chuck could rock it out, too ("Rock and Roll Preacher," "I Remember"). Now he's praising the Lord face to face. Prayers for his family.

Had Love Song album long ago, 50+ years ago. Remember Chuck Girard as the main member. Brings back memories of that very interesting and fun time, when sharing about Jesus was what we did. Prayers for all family members for peace and healing.
