Chun was born in Seoul, Korea. As a young girl, she lived with her aunt, Myong Soon. In her early teenage years, Chun was adopted by a U.S. Air Force serviceman, Russell Stone. Together, they moved to the United States. They resided in Vacaville, Calif., where Chun attended and graduated from high school.As an adult, she lived in California, Alaska, Korea, and spent her final days residing in Oregon.Chun enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, beach combing, gardening, sewing and watching animal and criminal investigation TV shows.Chun was a hardworking, independent, thrifty and wise woman. She touched many people's lives with her wonderful cooking and her funny stories. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. She is survived by her daughter, Misty Stone; three grandsons; and two granddogs that she loved very much.In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made to the Oregon Humane Society.Arrangements by Springer and Son.
