I didn’t know Cinda well, but she took me in at a time when things weren’t going so well in my life and seemingly not for her either. I’ll never forget how gracious she was and what a kind spirit she was. Her mom was great, tooI’m sorry to hear of her passing. Just wanted to say a thank you to herGod bless

Among all of my wonderful memories with Cinda, what I will always remember is her laugh! Cinda had the sweetest, most infectious laugh...I can still hear her giggling. She was a loving, fun and caring friend with many, many talents. I feel so lucky that she considered me her friend. I only wish that life hadn't taken us in such different directions. We all need a friend like Cinda

Kelly and I are so blessed to have had our life-paths crossed with Cinda. Just thinking about her, puts a smile on my heart. I can hear her laugh and see her face light up with her smile. She was a very special friend. We enjoyed many, many times together kicking up our heels in the Rudder Room in Oxnard, after enjoying a great day on the beach, our families together, playing and enjoying picnics together. She loved creating! She would always be busy with a successful project of some kind, while she listened to music. She loved when her mother visited; they were very close. We celebrated many holidays together, especially Halloween and her costumes were always memorable. She was a gift to the world and we loved her dearly.

Just wanted to say a few words about my mom. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, and friend. Since her passing in April, family and friends have provided so many photos and great memories of the great things she did. There isn't anything I loved better than to hear those kind words about her from old friends and family. I really needed that. What I saw in those pictures was that for most of her life she lived it just how she wanted it, on her terms (mostly), with a smile and a free spirit. She was happy and thankful. She was the most patient person on the planet. I don't ever remember her rushing to do anything other than get in the line at In n Out Burger. She was so easy going and easy to talk to. She was so funny, we always cracked each other up with our stupid jokes. She was a great mom and I am so proud of her. I know she is better off now, comfortable safe and warm in Gods hands. Will miss you dearly mom until we meet again. love you !

You were a compassionate person with a good heart, and I am grateful to have known you. Thank you for bringing joy to my life. I think of you often, and you will forever hold a special place in my heart. You are gone from this place, but I know you are resting peacefully in the arms of your loving Creator. Jill, you did a beautiful tribute to a beautiful lady. Several of the posted photos bring back fond memories and recall of a great time we spent together as seniors at Canoga park High School and later on a great European vacation with Bill ,Sue and I. After Cinda moved to Northern California, Sue and I were fortunate to stay in touch by phone on the latest happenings. Cinda was a special friend to me and those memories I will always cherish, Rest in peace dear one.

Thank you for the fabulous pictures! I treasure the memories of our Johnson family get-togethers in SoCal, Bass Lake, Oakhurst. We were a close bunch. I remember Cinda as a great beauty, charming, and tall (after all, I'm a lot younger and we Naylor's are not blessed in the height area). Blessings and love to you all, Craig Naylor

As my older first cousin, Cinda was always the beauty I was in awe of. As I read through her many accomplishments, I am again awed by all she did and was. From South Dakota to Southern California, to Northern California, she added her beauty to several communities, and she was always loyal to her family. I know family gatherings were a focal point for her, both in South Dakota and here in California. We have many shared memories of time with Cinda here at our Santa Monica house and with all the aunts, uncles, and cousins as we grew from childhood into adulthood. Cinda's mom, Millie, was my mom, Maxine's sister. The other sisters, Cinda's aunts, were Gretchen and Donna. Their brother, Cinda's uncle, was Robert. Cinda shared my dad, Roy's birthday of March 3rd, and they sometimes celebrated together. They would call each other every year on their special day. As I think of Cinda, I thank her for being my cousin, for keeping in touch over these many years, and for being a beautiful light our lives. I send love to Jill, Rafael, and the children and Matt, Marlena, and their children. God bless you all. Kathy

Jill and Matt,
What a beautiful photo of your mother.
She was so loving and proud of her family.
I loved her creative energy and can do enthusiasm she spread to those who knew her.
She was so full of sparkle and sunshine wherever she went.
God bless.

A beautiful tribute to your Mother. I was fortunate to have known her from High School on to No. Calif. We had so many wonderful and memorable moments that I will always treasure. One of the things I loved about Cinda, was she wasn't judgemental. She was always sweet and got along with everyone. I loved her so much, when we were in Colo. she was the only person I would call other than my Mom. My daughter is also named after her, Cinda Jean. I love and miss you Cinda, until we meet again.

Jill, this beautiful tribute to your mom is incredible. She was a stunning woman who enjoyed life and loved so many people, and we all loved her. I remember her laugh and smile so well, and the memories at the Oxnard condo, the ski trips, the tennis club, baking at your home on DeKalb (she taught us to make meringue on the pies), & she made celebrations so special...and yes, I will always remember the infamous red convertible Mercedes too! So grateful the Morgan family included our family in so much. I look at the pictures and you are beautiful just like her. Love you Jilly!! Lots of love to the entire family. Sending you love in heaven Cinda.

I looked up to her, and she influenced my life and accomplishments in so many positive ways!! She taught me, by example, to be a loving, kind, gracious and actively present parent! I loved her like a sister! I'll miss her in my life and will be reminded daily of her optimistic, lighthearted and giving ways. Love, Donalie

If roses grow in heaven,
Please pick a bunch for me (peach please)
Place them in my Mother's arms
And tell her they're from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her
And when she turns to smile
Place a kiss upon her cheek
And hold her for a while
Because remembering her is easy
I do it everyday
But there's an ache within my heart
That will never go away.
Love you always mom.. Jill

We had a wonderful mother
One who never really grew old
Her smile was made of sunshine
And her heart was solid gold
Her eyes were as bright as shining stars
And in her cheeks fair roses you see
We had a wonderful mother
And that's the way it will always be
But take heed because
She's still keeping an eye on all of us
So, let's make sure
She will like what she sees
Love you always mom.. forever missed. Jill
