Cindy Gorski Obituary

Cindy L. Gorski, 58, of rural Larwill, passed away peacefully at the home of her caretakers, James Gorski and Sandy Ott, at 1:30 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016. She had been in failing health.
She was born May 19, 1957 in Bristol, Conn., a daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Fournier) Markie. Her formative years were spent in Bristol. She completed her GED and attended Tunxis Community College.
Her employment included, GM – Fort Wayne and recently, Avalign, Warsaw.
A talented crafter, she enjoyed knitting and crochet which she gave as gifts and sold some retail. She had a love of the ocean. During the summer months, she played with local softball leagues and enjoyed her motorcycle.
She was a member of St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church.
Surviving are her two step-children, Christopher Gorski and Nicole Duursema, both of Connecticut; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Markie.
A celebration of Cindy's life will be held at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church fellowship hall, 315 S. Line St., Columbia City, Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m.

I'm so sorry to here of Cindy's passing,much to young for this to happen.I worked with Cindy in the body shop,mainly in DVA inspection.She was a apprentice at the time and was with me for two months.Cindy was very smart and fun to work with,she always brought treats in which was enjoyed by all.We always said we would meet at Maria's Pancake House in Warsaw,for breakfast,I truly enjoyed talking with her.
