LINDEN - Funeral services for Cynthia Henderson, 55, of Linden will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 16, 2010, at Linden United Methodist Church with Brother Mark McClanahan officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home. Mrs. Henderson died Tuesday, April 13, 2010, in a Longview hospital. She was born Dec. 27, 1954, in Wichita, Kan., to Raymond and Dorothy Harris Helferstay. Mrs. Henderson was an actress, screenwriter and owner of The Purple House CafŽ and Gift Shop. She was a member of Linden United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Royce Henderson of Linden; step-son, Ronald E. Henderson of Houston; mother, Dorothy Helferstay; sister, Eleanor Kessler of Wichita, Kan.; and two step- grandsons. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
