JOSEPHSON, ELIZABETH J. "Bettie" Born February 6, 1922. Died August 25, 2002. Her life was surrounded by love. First from an endearing family of eight active brothers and sisters and strong, adoring parents. Then, as shepherd for four energetic and loving children, Steven, Barbie, Pam and Scott plus her devoted and "obedient husband" of some 55 years, Joe. A workaholic, Bettie happily challenged her flock to lead solid, creative, Christian lives. This included grandchildren, Sean and Christy along with great-grandson, Jake. She helped in the early building of Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church by teaching, singing in the choir and leading summer bible schools. Bettie served many years as a volunteer at the Children's Hospital and various civic events. She left the world a much better place. God bless! Memorial services will be held at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church, corner of Walnut Hill and Preston Rd at 2 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2002. If desired, contributions may be made in Bettie's name to the Music Fund of the church.
