Clara Maniscalco Denny joined her Angels on Tuesday March 22, 2011 at 3:05 : a.m.
Beloved wife of the late Frank Denny Jr.
Loving mother of Clara Mary Eagan (Bob), Frank Denny III (Rosie) and Thomas Denny (Catherine).
Sister of Dorothy Maniscalco S.S.N.D. and the late Simon Maniscalco and Anthony Maniscalco Jr,. Annette Delamore and Angie Healy.
Daughter of the late Dorothy Accardo and Anthony Maniscalco Sr.
Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and her beloved pet "Sassy".
Mrs. Denny was a lifelong parishioner of St. Alphonsus Parish St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church and will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
Aged 92 years, a native and lifelong resident of the Irish Channel New Orleans, Louisiana.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church 2030 Constance St. New Orleans on Thursday morning March 24, 2011 at 11: 00 a.m.
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Clara Denny, may be made to School Sisters of Notre Dame P.O. Box 38 Chattawa, Mississippi. 39632.

Dear Clara Mary Frankie and Tommy, it's been Years but the Memories are still there....I'm So Sorry on the Loss of Your Sweet Mom...It was really odd the nite that I read about Your Mom I was telling My Husband about how I use to come over after skol n get my goodies from the Grocery and sit on the front step.Ms. Mani, Your Mom n Daddy,and All the Fun times we use to have playing at your house...My Mom has been gone now 39 years. How I Cherish each n every one of those Memories..Please know My Thoughts and Prayers are with You and Your Family at this Very Difficult time...She is Now an Angel and Will Always Be with You and Watch over You All...Cherish those Memories, that is the 1 Thing NO 1 Can ever take away from you...She was a Doll and I Remeber her Like it was Yesteday talking out of the Kitchen Window when I'd come over to see if You All could come out n Play..Many Years ago, but the Memory Very Clear..Lots of Love n Prayers coming To You ...Love.
