CLARA JEAN MORRISON Clara Jean Morrison, 87, of Connell, Washington, died Sunday, January 20, 2019, in Richland, Washington. She was born August 30, 1931, in Caldwell, Idaho to Lee and Ardis Hoover, the oldest of three sisters. She attended grade school at the Riverside Community School and graduated from high school Greenleaf Friends Academy, Greenleaf Idaho. In 1964 she moved to Connell, WA with husband Andy Anderson where she became involved in many community activities. Jean was an avid bowler with the Women Bowling Association, Bowling on many teams at the Town and Country Lanes in Connell. She was, A Master Gardner belonging to the Mid-Columbia Garden Club and active member of the Connell American Legion Auxiliary Post 195. In addition to owning her own gardening business, Jean's on Almira, she worked for various businesses in Connell, and later becoming the head cook for the Meals-on-Wheels in Connell, WA, retiring at the age of 80. Survivors include sister, Joyce Belt of Greenleaf, ID; seven children, Vern Anderson of Connell, WA; John Anderson of Anacortes, WA; Joyce Ann Armstead of Portland, OR; Roberta Heart of Nampa, ID; Pamela Birdsell of Pendleton, OR; Patricia Fodge of Vancouver, WA; and Bruce Loggins of Sunray, TX. 11 grand-children, 15 great grand-children and 2 great, great grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by husbands Howard Andy Anderson and C. Lloyd Morrison. A celebration of life will be held between 1:00 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Michael Jays Restaurant, 710 S Columbia Ave, Connell, WA 99326 following a private interment at Mountain View Cemetery in Connell, Washington.
