Dearest Donna & Family,
It is with much sadness that I received the email today informing me of the heartbreaking news. I truly enjoyed the friendship that Clare provided me on the several lunches, you were generous enough to include me in. I enjoyed Clare's company very much. She will be truly missed. May my prayers for you & your family offer some small comfort.

To Clare's Loved Ones:
I'm deeply saddened to hear of Clare's passing. Clare was a kind and gentle soul whose bright smile and happy eyes would light up your life.
Many people pass through life without having the good fortune to have loved and been loved and it's consoling to know that can't be said about Clare.
I knew Clare mostly through her partner, Donna, who I work with. There was never one day at work that I didn't hear something about Clare's busy life. I sometimes envied the love and care I saw and heard as I didn’t have that myself.
At this most difficult time I hope Clare's loved ones find the strength that's in them that they didn't know they have.
My Heartfelt Sympathy to you all

Clare's family and friends,
From the age of 13 when I moved to Mendham, I only have good memories of Clare, what a good person she was, interesting, warm, friendly, caring; you must have been very proud to have had her as your daughter, sister, partner and friend.
My sincerest condolences,
Francesca Huemer Kelly

Dear Donna, Marie, Stan, Arlene and Ken and all the family,
I was stunned and so sad this morning to receive the news about Clare's death. I have many, many happy memories of growing up with Clare and will send them to you soon. If I had just checked my messages in time I'd have been there, but am thinking of you right now all together for Clare.
Clare was my tennis partner, my sparring mate (how many playdates ended in fistfights?? And they say girls don't fight - ha!), my fellow detective as we spied on people around town, my defender against bullies and I hers, as well as my fellow teaser-of-younger-siblings. In short, we had the typical intense childhood friendship. Those memories will stay with me forever.
Much love to you all.
Love, Francesca
