Not sure what to say?

Everything I knew about Ray, every photo (those smiling eyes), his fatherly advice, his life-loving adventures, came through his daughters, in particular for me, Mindy. And because of her adoring posts--all these years--I've felt closer to, and so interested in, him. An immeasurable loss for this beautiful, goofy, passionate family. Sending so much love.

There are no words that will bring the family comfort at this time just remember us in your prayers and keep the ones that have been lost in your heart and you will be blessed

Dear Sharon and family, This was so difficult to hear this week. Your love began so many years ago when you both were almost childhood sweethearts. You are so very special. We hope you know how much you are loved and in our thoughts and prayers. We also send our love to you and your family. Love Pat and LaMar Gillen

I am so sad that Raymond has passed
He has been a devoted and loving husband to Sharon and loving father to all six of his daughters. His family and loved ones have always been his priority.
I´ve read so many stories of the special way he has been there to help Sharon and ways he has shown his love for her and all of the daughters. He will be missed, but will always be remembered for the love, and will live on in each of them forever.

I just want to say Ray had two very good friends with him. Steve and Craig. They never left his side. They were fantastic. Sorry for your Loss.

I´m so sorry for all of your loss. What an amazing man! He always showed kindness and love he showed my parents (Devon and Bertha Curtis) and our family. I have so many fond memories when I was a teenager of his laughing and teasing and sharing his amazing musical talents.

So much of the person that I am today is due to the tutelage, mentorship and love that Ray provided me through masonry, and as one of the most selfless young men leaders that one could imagine or ever hope for. One of his famous lines that I use on such a regular basis is and I quote "when the going gets tough, the tough get going." This is served me well throughout my life. Ray, please know that there is a very special place in my heart for you and I will forever miss you. Thank you for everything you´ve done for me.

I remember him jogging along Butler Road with his shirt off. He inspired me to keep jogging!

Ray was my cousin, one year younger than me. We have been very close and very good friends for the last 82-83 years. We even got married the same year. We have spent many days riding our motorcycles, hunting, going to lunch and just visiting with each other. I am 84 years old and Ray was the last of my close friends and I will miss him more that you can imagine. Ray was one of the best people I have ever known.

I´ve never really thought about how special this man is to me. Because he´s always there I´ve never had to wonder what would be like without him. In fact, I thought he was gonna outlive us all.
My uncle Raymond has never hesitated once to my knowledge to help anyone including me several times. There are many people that I can contribute my growth too, but I can´t think of one that compares to you Raymond. I love you and I´ll miss you.

Ray was a good, open and friendly guy. My few encounters with him were always positive. He seemed to find the good in everyone. I´m sorry to see him go.
