Daniel A. Marino

Daniel A. Marino, 84, of Forks Twp., Pa., formerly of Harmony Twp., NJ passed away on Saturday September 26, 2009 at his home. Born: On March 11, 1925 in Orange, NJ he was the son of the late Michele and Brigida Scropo Marino. Personal: Mr. Marino was the founder of Orbel Corp. of Palmer Twp., Pa., formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ. The company was founded in 1961 in Bloomfield, NJ. He was a world traveler, a scholar and a gentleman. He authored many books, stories and poems. Memberships: Mr. Marino was a member of A.E.S.F. since 1950. He was a Knight of Grace of the Knights of Hospitaller of St. John of Jerusalem. Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Annemarie S. Marino; his son, Kenneth A. Marino and his wife, Sue of Bushkill Twp., Pa.; grandchildren are Danielle, Steven and Samantha. Also surviving is a sister, Margaret Dillon of West Orange, NJ and nieces, nephews and brothers-in-law. He was preceded in death by sisters, Josephine Milani, Bridget Silvestro and Florence Viscone. Services: A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday September 30, 2009 at 11 am at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, NJ. Interment will follow privately. Viewing hours will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 8pm at the funeral home.
