Clarence Healy Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 25, 2011.
Clarence (Hank) Healy, 89 joined his Heavenly Father on September 25, 2011. He was born in Los Angeles on February 8, 1922 and moved with his family to the Stockton area as a young child. Hank has lived in Stockton, on and off, for his entire life. He attended local grammar schools, Stockton High and Modesto and San Joaquin Delta Colleges. He married his loving wife of 64 years, Dolores (Dodie) Healy and had two children, Rick Healy (wife Brigitte) and a wonderful grandchild, Savannah Healy and a daughter, Jill. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Charlene MacDonald and numerous nieces and nephews. His greatest working experience was building and then managing the Tokay Bowl in Lodi, CA for 26 years. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed his season tickets to the A's baseball games and the U.O.P. Women's Volley Ball games. Hank and Dodie also enjoyed the many live stage shows in Sonora and Sacramento. He helped many people throughout his life and they thought the world of him, because he was a really, really good guy! He is preceded in death by his mother, Sonia Sterner and his father Clarence "Tiny" Healy. There will be a celebration of Hank's life on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the home of Rick and Louise Northcutt, 3547 Bluelake Circle, Stockton, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in Mr. Healy's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Aid Society, the American Heart Assoc. or the Stockton Athletic Hall of Fame.
