Clarise L. Pryer

Virginia Beach - Clarise L. Pryer went home to be with the Lord on December 28, 2014, at the age of 80.

Born in Norfolk, Va., she was the only child of the late Lillie and Irvin B. Jones. She attended Catholic schools in Norfolk and went on to earn her cosmetology license before meeting her husband and starting a family.

She leaves to cherish her memory five children: Barry Pryer, Belinda Riddick (Bob), Morechell Pryer (Bonita), Clorise Pryer, and Dolline Hatchett (Greg); ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.

The viewing will be held on Jan. 9 from 4-7 p.m. at Fitchett-Mann Funeral Home located at 1146 Rodgers Street, Chesapeake, Va. Her funeral will be held on Jan. 10 at 2 p.m. at Bank Street Memorial Baptist Church, 7036 Chesapeake Blvd., in Norfolk, Va.
