After a six year battle with cancer, at NHS-St. Catharines Site on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 68 years of age. Beloved soulmate of Wendy Howell for 35 years and her children Tammy (William) and Shawn. Claude will be missed by Nicole (Jeremy) Ecklund and their fur babies. Claude was the middle of 11 children of the late Joseph and Simone. He's an uncle to several nieces, nephews and their families. He was the "Life of the party!" While relaxing he enjoyed fishing, playing pool along with a good game of cards that were often tilted in his favour by bending the rules and spent winters away in the warmer climates. In honouring Claude's wishes a private graveside service will take place in the future. Memorial donations to NHS-Foundation (Walker Family Cancer Clinic) and HHS-Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Considerate Cremation & Burial Services, 26 Nihan Drive, St. Catharines (between Lake Street & Scott Street), 289-362-1144.
