Ed, so sorry about your Dad.

I have many fond memories from Pathfinders as a kid because of your dad. He had the remarkable ability to portray toughness and yet understand that some of us weren't Marines yet at 10 and 11!

I specifically remember him dealing with a rattlesnake on one camping trip and teaching us some very important lessons about the careful handling of poisonous snakes, even dead ones!

He was a great guy and I'll always remember him with great fondness.

George & I are so sorry for your loss. What great memories you have of your Dad and what a great 90 years! May you feel God's loving arms wrapped around you and Teri, (and your whole family). You are all in our prayers. Much love.

So sorry to hear of Claude's passing. As a kid in the Vancouver Church and at Fir Grove School, Claude and Rusty Fuller were the two adults that stood out as the adults that treated all of us grade schoolers as important people. I hadn't seen Claude for a few years, but the last time I did, he greeted me just as he always had over 45 years ago. I know my Dad (Delbert Holt) always knew he could depend on Claude for support and friendship.

Ed, Teri, and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of grieving and of remembering. Your dad and grandfather lived a full and wonderful life. I remember the golf outings where he, at times, could barely hold the club, but, he hit the ball remarkably well. He always was interested in his family and friends.
Ed, I know you have many fond memories of your times together hunting and scouting in the hills of Washington.
For Claude, there is rest until Jesus comes again. They will be glad to be together.

The loss of a father is always big, and losing another "rockhound" is tough too. But I know you guys...you had a special relationship and that makes for great memories and no regrets. I know God will give your family peace and a sense of satisfaction for the relationship and love you shared with your dad.

A long life, but never long enough. Your memory will linger long with those who sat at your table, laughed round your fire, and walked with you on humid Kentucky evenings.

You will be missed most by those you loved, who carry your blood and your name. Sleep well Claude Boyatt.

Very sorry to hear of your loss, Ed. You cared for your dad very well during these past years. The many good memories that you and your dad created together will be important to talk about. I regret that we can't attend the service, but you and Terri will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I have wonderful childhood memories of the 'Honey Man.' Only later did I learn his name was Claude. Claude visited my folks property often- gentle, smiling man. Love to the entire Boyatt family.
