BELLEVUE — Claude P. Schneider, 93, of Bellevue, Ohio, died at The Willows on Wednesday, July 22, 2015.
Mr. Schneider was born in Franks, Ohio on March 17, 1922 to the now deceased Charles and Mary Magadelena "Lena" (Wurm) Schneider. He attended Franks School.
He was a dairy and grain farmer all of his working life.
Claude was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
On November 5, 1949, he married Margaret A. Burrer. She survives along with their six children; Carol (Jeff) Shearer, Clayton, North Carolina; Diane (Dave) Didion, Bellevue; Kenneth (Leslie) Schneider, Dublin, Ohio; Roger (Nancy) Schneider, Republic, Ohio; Barbara (Frank) Von Maluski, Centerville, Ohio and Ron (Dawn) Schneider, Bellevue. Twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren also survive.
Claude was preceded in death by his sister, Leona Bertsch and two brothers, Donald Schneider and Edwin Schneider.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 27, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. at the Auxter Funeral Home, 1 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bellevue with Rev. Jonathan Wight officiating. Burial will be St. Mary's Cemetery , Bellevue.
Memorials may be made to The Willows Activity Department.
