Claudia Toinette Arthur Sewell

Claudia Toinette Sewell, lovingly known to all as "Toni," passed away peacefully on Sunday July 27, 2025, at the age of 78.

Toni dedicated her life to service, working for many years in the Poway school district working with students and later as a case manager for the Louisiana court system and CASA, where she advocated for vulnerable children and helped families rebuild and reclaim their lives. Her work was not just a career; it was a calling, and she approached it with compassion, strength, and unwavering commitment.

She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, infectious smile, and love of dancing. A true people person, Toni was always happiest surrounded by her many devoted and loyal friends and loved ones. Her deep faith guided her through life, and her devotion to the church was a cornerstone of who she was.

Toni was preceded in death by her beloved husband Curtis Sewell; father, O'Quinn Walker and mother, Mildred Walker. She is survived by her children and step-children; Ken Arthur Jr, Kevin Arthur, and Kelly Rider; Jennifer Singh and Ryan Sewell; and grandchildren and step-grandchildren; Hannah and Nate Arthur, Sophie and Elaina Arthur, Quinn and Jake Rider; Rohan and Ava Singh; Ethan, Paul, and Harper Sewell as well as her siblings Arthur Walker, Mickey Walker, and Juana Walker. Her legacy lives on through them and through the countless lives she touched with her kindness and wisdom.

Services will be held at Airline Baptist Bossier on October 11, 2025 at 1:00p.
