Claudia Frederick Obituary
Claudia J. Frederick, 67, of Upper Saucon Twp., formerly of Nazareth, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Hospice House of St. Luke's. She is the wife of Larry R. Frederick. She was born in Easton on January 24, 1955 to the late Claude & Ethel (Bowers) Baltz. Claudia worked as a special education teacher for the Bangor School District. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church – Nazareth. She loved gardening, the beach, game nights, cruise trips, spending time with her grandchildren and was always the centerpiece of family and friend gatherings.
SURVIVORS:
In addition to her husband of 20 years; children: Erika J. Kozak (Drosnock) (Derek Staib) of Wilmington, DE, Kimberly S. Caracausa (John Pross) of Hatfield, and Michael R. Frederick (Nancy) of Lower Saucon; siblings: Curt Baltz (Barb) of Bath, Gary Baltz (Janice) of Nazareth, and Cindy Getz of Nazareth; grandchildren: Kayla, Andrew, Landon, Owen and Audrey; nieces & nephews. Claudia is predeceased by her son: Jared M. Drosnock.
SERVICE:
Family and friends are invited to call 11 – 12 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street – Hellertown, followed by the service at Noon. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at: www.heintzelmancares.com. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. – Hellertown.
CONTRIBUTIONS:

Larry and Family,
Claudia wasn't just a wife, mother, teacher, friend or family member, she was an inspiration to all who knew her. Her valiant fight against the disease that took her from this world will be remembered by not only her family and friends, but also by the medical community who did their best to heal her.
May God bless and comfort all of you as you grieve her passing, and may He sustain you in the weeks and years ahead.

We offer our sincerest condolences to you and the entire family in the loss of Claudia. We knew her to be a very sweet lady who truly enjoyed time spent with her children, grandchildren and friends. Whenever we saw her she greeted us with a hug and a smile. There is no doubt the world has lost a shining light. We know she fought the good fight. Take comfort in the knowledge that she is finally now at peace and free of pain. Again, our prayers are with all during this most difficult time.

I remember Claudia in Sunday school with her blonde bologna curls which made her one of the prettiest girls in our class. Always a nice girl I was glad to have seen her in school at Nazareth High. I'm sure she's watching down on us & is having a reunion with the other 33 classmates we lost way too soon. Thanks for the memories & for the ones that will comfort your family & friends.

I was privileged to know Claudia as a neighbor, playground friend, Nazareth Olympian team mate and going through Nazareth Schools together! She was always a kind and caring person to all she met! Life is just so unfair sometimes. You are way too young to be gone already. You kept our family strong for so many years. I am sure Nana and you will be throwing parties for all of our beloved family and friends that have passed before us up there. Claudia was a dear friend. We saw each other frequently during the 70s & 80s when we were young & had our little children. They were wonderful. fun times. We even hunted together!
