LYNCH, Claudia
Passed away on November 18, 2012 after a lengthy battle with cancer in her 71st year, peacefully at home surrounded by her family She will be greatly missed by her husband John, her son Rob (Josie) and her daughter Toni. Cherished grandmother of Xavier, Alix and Samantha. Caring sister of Sylvanna (Ray), sister-in-law of Diane, Terry (Nancy) and many cousins on both sides. Remembered by her nieces, nephews and their children, and many close friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the compassionate staff at the Juravinski Hospital Ward C3 and the caring staff from CCAC especially Gina and Anice and also Julia from Saint Elizabeth Cremation has taken place Funeral Mass will be held at Regina Mundi Roman Catholic Church (631 Mohawk Road West) on Thursday, November 22nd at 11 am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery Following the interment, the family would like to invite everyone to a reception at Cresmount Funeral Home, Upper James Chapel, (1020 Upper James Street) at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated Online tributes and condolences may be made at www.cresmountfennellchapel.com

My deepest sympathies to John, Toni and Rob. Claudia will definitely be missed. She was a very king and caring person and it was such a pleasure to know her. She is definitely among the angels now.

Dear John, Rob, Josie, Toni and family,
My heartfelt condolences are extended to all of you. Claudia was a very dear friend and will be missed immensely. She was such a talented individual...simply beyond compare when it came to her artistic endeavours. She was always upbeat and positive and not even her battle with cancer could get her down. She fought with such strength, courage and determination and never burdened others with her monumental challenges. I hope that she is now finally free of pain and looking down on us from a cloud in heaven. There is no doubt in my mind that she has earned her wings and that the angels have welcomed her with open arms. She is finally at home with the angels that she so cherished and will continue in her protective role of watching over her family whom she loved so much.

So sad to to know I am leaving shortly ,knowing Claudia won't be there to greet me with her usual smile and welcome. She was more than a sister-in -law she was a friend and was so kind to me in troubled times. Her angels will look after her now and she will suffer no more. To Rob, Josie and Family..we are so sorry to hear of your loss..I (Tina) remember many of times at family occassions speaking with her and she was always so gracious and nice to me. While it has been many years since I saw Mrs. Lynch, I will always remember her smile and kindness to me and the rest of us girls anytime we all got together. I have cherished memories of sleepovers with Toni and her mom's bulk barn stash of snacks for us when they lived in Freelton! She was always very sweet to me, always a warm smile and kind words.
