Claudia (Green) Paris
May 1, 1950 - Dec. 28, 2019
An angel landed on this earth on May 1, 1950, and once again took wing on December 28, 2019. "Paris" attended John Marshall High School (Class of '68) and was blessed with three children, Dylan McCanlies, Elizabeth Paris and Emily Paris. A free spirit with a touch of gypsy who was a forever hippy ~ she rarely followed rules – which didn't always work out in her favor. Emily says she cooked a mean tabouli, Jambalaya and the best spaghetti! She loved The Beatles, Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell and the movie "The Long Kiss Goodnight." She had a knack for creating, and loved paintings, statues and gardening. Her long and winding road was not always easy, but her kindness, grace and beauty will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Special thanks to her wonderful friends, Beau Williams, of OKC, and a very special Timothy Edwards, of Tulsa, who was there for her when she needed help.
