Clayton Tex Bennett, of Tomball, Texas was eagerly welcomed into the world by his abundant family on the beautiful Sunday morning of April 03, 2022, and was called home by our Heavenly Father on November 08, 2022.
In Clayton’s (fondly called Claytie by loved ones) brief time on this earth, he was constantly surrounded and embraced by so many who loved him dearly. His life was one filled with only the purest, most innocent love and joy which could always be seen on his smiling, illuminated face and beautifully sparkling blue eyes. Claytie would often express his joy with his heartwarmingly audible laugh and what his family called his “pterodactyl screech.” Claytie loved playing with his siblings and dog LeRoy, eating, going on walks with his mom and being outdoors. His favorite book was God Loves you Little Peanut which was usually read to him by his big sister.
Claytie is survived by his parents Justin & Paige Bennett; brothers Parker & Colton Stokely; sister Aubrie Stokely; dog & best friend LeRoy Bennett; grandparents Mary Jo Bennett, Clayton & Lisa Bennett, Steve & LaDonna Lesikar; Great Grandparents Arlene Boyer, Phyllis Timmons, Frank Beneditti; Uncle, Aunt and cousin Trent, Amanda & Brayden Lesikar; Uncle, Aunt, and cousins, Bob, Hilary, Jolee, & Annabelle Butella, surrogate parents Daniel & Crystal Goodson; and an abundance of extended family and friends.
We find comfort, strength, and great hope in knowing that Claytie is with God and wrapped in the arms of so many loved ones that have gone before him. Our “Angel Dear” in Heaven will forever be within the hearts and souls of all that loved him.
The generosity, love and care from our friends, family and community has been indescribable. We thank you wholeheartedly and ask for continued prayers in the difficult days ahead.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a diaper donation to be brought to the church on Tuesday or sent to the Bennett home to be given to the Tomball Pregnancy Assistance Center.
