Little things I found in you
Orange and Red.Silence. Simple. Thoughtful. Accepting. Patient. Loving. Larger than life.
In my mind I will always see you sitting in the chair that wasn't quite tall enough to allow you to sit without having your knees higher than your thighs, I see you pulling out your pocket knife, so that you can precisely trim the tape of the present in your lap.
I can still see you coming into the house after work with that box beat up and taped.
The bright orange hat on your head.
I am always going to find something that is going to bring you into my thoughts. I miss you.
Thank you for the lessons you have tought me, thank you for the lessons you tried to teach me. Thank you for never judging me. Thank you for everything.
I love you Grandpa.

What an awesome legacy Bob Shepherd has left behind. Sounds to me like he was a wonderful man. May the Peace of Christ settle into your bones during this difficult time. Peace 2 U,

You were always there. You are going to be greatly missed. Your presence was always a presence. You were there for the good times and the bad times, all the experiences that make a family a family. You were there for every Holiday get together. . You were there for every birthday. You were there to support and admonish. You were there for the birth of every grandchild, ready to welcome him or her into this family. You went to every picnic. You went on every overnight camping trip. You went to every horseshow. You went to every dog show. You were always there. Thank you Love Debbie

My Pappa~
I'm going to miss you Grandpa. Growing up, you were always there to swoop me up with a big hug, and reassure me I'd be ok when I hurt myself, you would stay up late some nights helping me with complicated math homework, you were always so great at math. I remember every time you stopped to fill the gas tank in your truck/car you had your pen and notepad recording the gas mileage and price. I'm not sure I'll ever be that disciplined about recording things, but every time I'm at the pump I think about how you used to religiously do that. Although we were not blood related, you treated me as if we were, and In my heart I will always carry that special love you gave to me, I will miss you terribly, I'm happy you can be with Grandma now.
An Eternity of Love,
Your Granddaughter,
Katherine Ellis
